An Evening Long in the Making

We met on a June evening much like the one we hope to share with you — in a garden after the heat of the day had gone, when the light turns gold and nobody wants to go home. Eight years later we are still in that garden, more or less — same conversation, same laughter, one more dog. It is time to make it official. Join us at Foxcombe Manor for vows in the walled garden, a long dinner in the Orangery, and dancing in the Great Hall until the small hours. The lanterns will stay lit until the last guest goes home.

Questions

Good to Know

Answers to your questions

1

What time should we arrive?

Please arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony so we can begin on time.

2

Is there a dress code?

Summer formal — flowing dresses, linen suits, and soft colours. The palette above is a good starting point.

3

Where should we stay?

Painswick and Stroud both have lovely inns and B&Bs, and Cheltenham is 25 minutes away with larger hotels. Book early — June is busy in the Cotswolds.

4

Can we bring our children?

We love your little ones, but our celebration is adults-only. Let us know if you need help arranging care.

Anything else? Ask away when you RSVP.

Our Story

five chapters, and counting

2019

The First Meeting

We crossed paths at a rooftop gathering neither of us had planned to attend. By midnight we had talked ourselves into a corner and forgotten anyone else was there.

2020

First Date

A late-night walk that turned into a 4 AM conversation in a diner booth. Neither of us wanted the night to end — so we didn't let it.

2022

Moved In Together

Forty-two boxes, one impossible IKEA wardrobe, and the realisation that we could survive anything as long as we did it side by side.

2024

The Proposal

Under a sky full of stars with no audience but the night itself. The answer was yes before the question was finished.

2027

Forever Starts Here

And now we invite you to the good part.

Many more to come.

Gift Registry

your presence is the greatest gift — but if you insist

1

Honeymoon Fund

Help us disappear into the world for a while. Every contribution goes toward an adventure neither of us will ever forget.

2

Our First Home

We are building something together, one room at a time. A contribution toward the home we are making would mean more than we can say.

3

Charitable Gift

A donation in our name to a cause we hold dear. We would be honoured to celebrate our joy by giving something back.

Every contribution means the world to us.

Thank you for being part of our story.

With all our love, always
