Two reporters, one shared byline at last. Join us on Fleet Street as we make it official.
A love story in chapters
She was the new reporter on the city desk. He was the night editor who cut her first story down to forty words. She came to argue about it and stayed for the late shift.
Dinner at a Fleet Street pub after the paper went to bed. They talked until last orders, then kept talking along the Embankment until the first editions hit the stands.
A narrow flat above a bookshop in Clerkenwell. Simon learned to make coffee at 5 AM. Eloise learned to sleep through the typewriter he swears still works.
Simon placed a notice in the paper's classifieds. Eloise found it over breakfast, read it twice, and circled her answer in red ink.
The biggest story we will ever write, and all of you are in it.

Answers to your questions
Please arrive by 1:30 PM. The ceremony at St Bride's begins at 2:00 PM sharp.
Yes, city formal. Everything you need is in the dress code section above.
We love your little ones, but our celebration is adults-only. Let us know if you need help arranging care for the evening.
London in May keeps us guessing, so everything happens indoors. The Old Press Hall is a two-minute walk from the church; bring an umbrella just in case.
We've reserved a block of rooms at a hotel near Blackfriars, a short walk from the church. Booking details will follow closer to the date.
By Tube is easiest: Blackfriars and St Paul's are both a few minutes on foot. All routes are listed under Location below.
Your presence is the greatest gift. If you would like to contribute, you will find our registry further down.
Reach out anytime. We're happy to help with travel, accommodation, or anything else.

St Bride's Church
St Bride's Church, Fleet Street, London EC4Y 8AU
St Bride's is tucked just south of Fleet Street, reached through a narrow passage between the buildings. Look up for the tiered white spire. The Old Press Hall, for the reception, is a two-minute walk away along Bride Lane.
Blackfriars and St Paul's Underground, about 5 minutes on foot
City Thameslink station, a two-minute walk
Several bus routes stop on Fleet Street, right outside
Heathrow via the Elizabeth line to Farringdon, about 50 minutes
Parking in the City is scarce, so we recommend public transport
We can't wait to welcome you to London.
Your presence is the only gift we need
Contribute to making our first home together feel like ours.
Help us get away for our honeymoon, somewhere without a newsroom in sight.
Simon's 1950s typewriter deserves a proper restoration. Eloise would like it quieter.
Thank you for your kindness.
With all our love
